Description
Linde HMV280-02 Tandem Variable Displacement Motor
The Linde HMV280-02 Tandem is an HMV T-02 tandem motor consisting of two variable displacement HMV-02 motors arranged face-to-back and joined by a tandem flange. It is designed for applications that need substantially more torque while retaining the gearbox interface of a corresponding single motor.

HMV280-02 tandem configuration checklist
For a Linde HMV280-02 tandem variable displacement motor, confirm both rotating groups, the complete type code, combined displacement, control configuration, shafts, flanges, ports and rotation. The complete nameplate and machine data are required for a reliable compatibility check.
For a quotation, provide the complete type code, machine make and model, operating pressure, speed, nameplate details and any available drawing. INTEREQ will confirm availability, condition, configuration and international delivery options for the specific unit offered.
Each motor has separate high-pressure and feed-pressure connections and can be controlled individually. Both units can be set to zero displacement. The arrangement uses the same mounting flange as the single motor and can be supplied with one or two shaft ends for direct driveline integration.

Applications
This hydraulic motor is intended for mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, including construction, road construction, mining, quarrying and tunnelling equipment where the specified configuration is required. Final suitability depends on the complete type code and machine system.
Key features and compatibility
The tandem configuration can double available torque at the same gearbox interface, simplify torque increases in existing applications and eliminate the need for an additional transfer gearbox in suitable drivelines. Exact shaft, flange, controls and connections remain project-specific.
Model identification and replacement selection
Typical uses include hydrostatic travel drives, swing drives, winches, wheel or track drives and other heavy-duty functions in construction, road-building, mining, quarrying, tunnelling and agricultural equipment. Confirm the complete model code and nameplate before ordering. Shaft profile, mounting flange, ports, valves, rotation, control equipment and other configuration details can differ within one rated size.

Ordering and compatibility note
Linde HMV280-02 tandem variable displacement motor should be matched using the complete type code rather than the model designation alone. Compare the nameplate with the manufacturer documentation before purchase. Confirm whether the required unit is new, remanufactured or used, and whether the offered motor matches the machine’s mounting, drive and control requirements.
For cross-reference work, send clear photos of the nameplate, housing, shaft end and port side where available. Include the machine application and any known operating pressure, speed or control signal. INTEREQ uses these details to reduce the risk of selecting a visually similar but incompatible motor and to prepare a more accurate quotation.
